Full Moon Saturday, June 3, 2023 11:43 p.m. eastern time in sidereal Scorpio, Jyeshtha: The Fearless Protector

The June Full Moon will be in a protective degree of sidereal Scorpio called “Jyeshtha,” the elder. Its symbol is the talisman and the umbrella, shielding us from the storm. Being the dragon slayer of the nakshatras, its strong suit is to confront and release fears. As it’s ruled by fiery and activist Mars and zippy and communicative Mercury, it brings fire and power to the voice.

But Jyeshtha’s shadow side is that it can believe it’s above the law, and its protective nature can turn into control, abuse of power. How we think, speak and act are in focus now, as are our deeper emotions and motivations. This is our chance to tune in and see if/where we are clenching our fists in fear or opening up and letting go.

Some areas to reflect on:

•What are you in the process of releasing?

•Are you protecting yourself? Or someone else? Or a belief you hold?

•Are you coming from a place of love? Or a love of power?

•Are you in a space of trust and taking action for the good? Or in a space of fear which breeds the need to exert control?

•What are you afraid of?

•What or who are you willing to stand up for?

:::PEACE:::
