Full Moon sidereal Taurus in Rohini: Dec 4, 2025 at 18:14 ET: CARE and CALM

There will be Full Moon supermoon in the beautiful sign Rohini, whose name means “the red one” and is connected to the red eye of the bull in the constellation of Taurus. The Moon is exalted in this sign, meaning its qualities of kindness, caring and comfort are magnified, as is its ability to bring forth creations from the heart. Its governing deity is Brahma the Creator, and it is ruled by Venus and the Moon giving it the shakti or power of creation and growth.

Rohini is truly a sign representative of what it’s like to be embodied and on a spiritual path. One of its symbols is the banyan tree, whose roots fall down from above; Buddha is said to have meditated and attained enlightenment here. Another is the chariot, reminding us we are the drivers and must be involved on our paths. Yet another is the temple, an earthly space we go to connect with divinity. The chariot and temple can also be symbolic of the human body: the vehicle through which we get to experience the spiritual. These all remind us of the importance of the journeys we are on, on both the physical and spiritual planes.

Even though Rohini is deeply loving and is said to be the sign Krishna incarnated under, its shadow side can manifest as being overly indulgent and not feeling satisfied - like the “grass is greener on the other side of the fence” complex many struggle with.

A challenge of this Full Moon is that it’s considered unsupported, which can bring a feeling of aloneness or a tendency to go inward, or even pull away. However, it’s sitting opposite dynamic planets that offer energy, excitement, and a real eagerness to connect and create. There’s an introvert–extrovert balance being illuminated here for us. This Full Moon’s energy we will be working with for a few weeks flows best when we allow ourselves pockets of quiet, meditative space in between our social interactions. Keeping our inner balance is the key.

This Moon also gives us stability as some significant planetary events happen above: Mars is moving forward from Scorpio into Sagittarius until mid-January, and Jupiter is retrograding from Cancer back into Gemini in just a few days, where it will remain until the end of May 2026. As planets shift, they cross sensitive degrees that tend to stir emotions and unsettle the system. In Ayurveda, transitions always call for extra care and grounding. This Full Moon offers exactly the kind of steadiness we need to move through these transitions with clarity and calm.

Some questions to consider:

💚What makes you feel uplifted and grounded at the same time?

💚What wants to be created by you / come through you?

💚Are you finding a balance between time for yourself and time connecting with others?

💚Do you feel like you are holding the reins of your chariot?

💚How’s your “temple” feeling?

💚How is your connection with creativity showing up? And to spirituality? Are they linked?

💚Where in life do you feel satisfied?
